Committee Types

Committee Descriptions

The following are standing committees of the Colorado Association of Home Builders. Please contact CAHB for a schedule of meeting times.

Government Affairs Committee:

Is responsible for reviewing and recommending policy positions on the broad scope of legislation before the Colorado General Assembly that will impact the home building industry and private property rights. Voting members of this Committee are appointed by the CAHB Executive Committee.

Political Funding Committee:

Oversees the collection and distribution of political contributions to support or oppose candidates for state elective offices. Voting members of this Committee are nominated by Local HBAs appointed by the CAHB Executive Committee.

Colorado Builder Forum Editorial Board:

Oversees the content published by the CAHB in the Colorado Builder Forum and elsewhere.

Executive Officers Council:

Is comprised of the executive officers from each local home builders association (HBA) who come together to share ideas, discuss common concerns, and learn how to better manage their respective associations.

Board of Directors:

Consists of members representing all market areas of Colorado who participate in the focusing and governing of the association. Please contact your local HBA if you would like to represent them on the CAHB Board of Directors.
